In the following we would therefore like to inform you about using our internet pages and the type, purpose, and scope of any processing of personal data related to this. We would also like to inform all data subjects about the rights that they are entitled to.

The controller of the processing of personal data shall be the natural or legal person who decides individually or with other people on the purpose and means of the processing of personal data.
In the case that you use our website purely for informational purposes, i.e. if you do not register or submit information to us in any other way, we will only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (server logfiles). If you view our website, we will collect the following data that is technically necessary for us in order to display the website to you:

- Date and time of the access
- Quantity of the sent data in bytes
- Source/referrer from which you reached the page

In accordance with Article 6, section 1, lit. f of the GDPR, the processing is performed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the improvement of the stability and functionality of our website. The data will not be transmitted to third parties or used in any other way. However, we reserve the right to examine the server logfiles subsequently if specific indications should point to an unlawful use.
In order to make the visit to our website attractive and enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are placed on your end device. Some of the cookies that we use will be deleted subsequent to the end of the browser session, i.e. after you have closed your browser (session cookies). For this purpose and for this case, cookies of partner companies (third party cookies) will also be stored on your hard drive when you visit our website. If we cooperate with such aforementioned advertising partners, you will be informed individually and separately within the sections below about the use of such cookies and the scope of the information collected in each case.

If you contact us (e.g. by contact form or by email), personal data will be collected. It is indicated in the respective contact form which data will be collected when such a form is used. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or for establishing contact as well as for the technical administration related thereto. The legal basis for the processing of your data is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry in accordance with Article 6, section 1, lit. f of the GDPR. If you contact us in order to conclude a contract, Article 6, section 1, lit. b of the GDPR is an additional legal basis for the processing. Your data will be erased after your enquiry has been completely processed; this is the case if the circumstances indicate that the matter has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no statutory obligations to retain the data.
If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will send you information regarding our services on a regular basis. Your email address is the only mandatory information for the receipt of the newsletter. You may submit any further data on a voluntary basis, which will be used for the purpose of addressing you personally. We use the double opt-in procedure for distributing the newsletter. This means that we will only send you an email newsletter if you have expressly confirmed to us that you consent to the receipt of newsletters. We will then send you a confirmation email in which you will be required to confirm by clicking a corresponding link that you would like to receive newsletters in the future.
By means of activating the confirmation link, you grant us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Article 6, section 1, lit. a of the GDPR. Upon your subscription to the newsletter, we will store your IP address that has been registered by the internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of the subscription in order to be able to detect any possible misuse of your email address at a later point in time. We will use the data, which we collect upon the subscription to the newsletter, exclusively for purposes of advertising by means of the newsletter.
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in the newsletter provided for that purpose or by means of a corresponding message to the controller indicated above. Once you have unsubscribed, your email address will be removed from our newsletter mailing list without delay, unless you have expressly granted your consent to a further use of your data or unless we reserve the right to further use your data which is legally permitted and of which we inform you in this Declaration.
This website uses the YouTube embedding function for displaying and playing videos of the provider “YouTube” that is a company of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
When doing so, the extended data protection mode is used, during which – in accordance with the provider’s information – the storage of user information will only commence when the video(s) is/are played. If the playing of embedded YouTube videos is started, the provider uses YouTube cookies in order to collect information on user behaviour.
As indicated by YouTube, this information is used among other things for compiling video statistics, improving user friendliness, and preventing abusive behaviour. If you are logged into your Google account, your data will be directly associated to your account when you click on a video. If you do not wish your data to be associated to your YouTube profile, you must log out from your account before activating the the video’s play button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and analyses them. Such an analysis is performed in particular in accordance with Article 6, section 1, lit. f of the GDPR on the basis of the justified interests of Google in the display of personalised advertisements, market research, and/or the demand-based design of their website. You are entitled to a right of objection against the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube in order to exercise this right.
Irrespective of whether the embedded videos are played or not, contact to the Google network “DoubleClick” will be established whenever this website is visited, which may trigger further data processing operations that are beyond our range of influence.

In addition to the services on our website, we provide a mobile app that can be installed on end devices.
Upon downloading the app from the respective store, your personal data that is important for the installation will be transferred to the store operator. This is, for example, your user name, your email address or your payment data. We are unable to influence this process.
Personal data that is required for the use of the app is collected and processed on the basis of Article 6, section 1, lit. f of the GDPR. This data is necessary in order to ensure the technical functionality and security of the app and in order to design the services according to your needs. We collect and process the following data:

- Location data, if you allow it

For the collection of some of this data, we use Google Analytics in our app. In this case, the data is sent to the Google servers in the USA. Under no circumstances, will we pass your data on to third parties.
On this website, we also use the reCAPTCHA feature of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). This feature is mainly used to differentiate whether an entry is made by a natural person or, in an abusive manner, by a mechanical and automated processing. The service includes the transfer of the IP address to Google and, if applicable, other data that Google requires for the reCAPTCHA service; it is performed in accordance with Article 6, section 1, lit. f of the GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in determining the fact that activities on the internet are motivated by the individual will of a person, and in the avoidance of abuse and spam.

- Right of access in accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR: In particular, you have a right to obtain information about your personal data processed by us, the purposes of the processing, the categories of the processed personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the scheduled storage period or the criteria for the determination of the storage period, about the existence of a right to rectification, to erasure, to the restriction of the processing, to object against the processing, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, about the origin of your data if we have not collected this from you, the existence of an automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, substantiated information regarding the logic involved and the consequences and intended effects of such a processing, as well as about your right to information about which safeguards exist in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR if personal data is transferred to third countries;

You shall be entitled to the right to be informed about these recipients.
- Right to data portability in accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR: You have the right to request to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request the transmission of this data to another controller if this is technically feasible;
- Right to withdraw granted consents in accordance with Article 7, section 3 of the GDPR: You have the right to withdraw any granted consent to the processing of data at any time and with effect for the future. In the case of such withdrawal, we will erase the data concerned without delay, unless any further processing may be founded on a legal basis for the processing without consent. The withdrawal of the consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing performed on the basis of the consent up until the withdrawal;
- Right to lodge a complaint in accordance with Article 77 of the GDPR: If you consider that the processing of the personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR, you have – without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy – the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITHIN THE SCOPE OF A WEIGHING OF INTERESTS ON THE BASIS OF OUR OVERRIDING LEGITIMATE INTEREST, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ALL TIMES TO OBJECT TO THIS PROCESSING FOR REASONS THAT ARISE FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION AND WITH EFFECT FOR THE FUTURE.

The period for which the personal data will be stored is calculated according to the respective statutory retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and fiscal law). Subsequent to the expiry of the respective period, the corresponding data will be erased routinely, unless it is still required for fulfilling or initiating contracts and/or we do not maintain a legitimate interest in the continued storage.
